This stunning wedding venue in Suffolk is the perfect choice for those who are looking to create their own, beautifully bespoke wedding. The Sancroft Barns are a dry-hire venue, providing you with the opportunity to choose your own theme, suppliers and overall feel that you want from your wedding day. Upon arriving at the venue, you will find that it is truly enchanting and has a wonderful rustic charm. All around, you can see our Suffolk fields and hedges under the famous huge East Anglian skies above.

At the heart of the venue is a Tudor threshing barn. It makes for a spectacular backdrop for your ceremony and can accommodate up to 115 guests. In an evening this number extends to 125 seated or 300 standing guests and is a fantastic place to celebrate and dance the night away. The coloured LED's light this space beautifully. For more intimate events, it can be used as one single area for your reception, meal and dance for up to 50 guests. Outside the threshing barn is the south-facing courtyard, a real suntrap. What better place to enjoy welcome drinks and canapes!

The flexibility of this venue doesn't end there. On the other side of the barn is the old farm 'stackyard'. Here now lies a lovely, semi-permanent marquee that can seat up to 135 seated and 190 standing guests. Alternatively you you can use solely the paddock for a true rustic countryside reception, meal and dance. Spend your day and evening in a larger marquee or tipi, with no restriction on numbers. There’s mature trees and wild flowers, and loads of grass for glamping and camping.

The venue is a very flexible space, making it perfect for all weddings. So whether you are looking to plan a more intimate celebration or a lavish affair, there is plenty of room for you and your creativity.

O Davies: I recently got married at The Sancroft Barns - we were the venues first wedding since opening. We booked the venue in December 2021 when the barn was still in the middle of work being completed but we could tell Jeremy and Rachael had amazing ideas and plans for the space, everything came together perfectly!

As a 'dry hire' venue we had complete freedom to choose different suppliers and vendors, there was no set list we had to choose from like we had found with other venues. And we had no idea Jeremy and Rachael would go so above and beyond to help ensure the smooth running of the day, I don't think a single thing happened out of time or went even slightly wrong which I'm sure is unheard of with weddings.

Jeremy and Rachael have amazing places around the grounds for photo opportunities, we were extremely lucky with the weather having beautiful sunshine and got some amazing sunset shots with their fields and gardens as the back drop - we can't wait to get our full album back to be able to share more with you.

Anyone who is considering hiring glamping tents we would definitely recommend, it was so lovely the morning after the wedding waking up with family and friends - we went for breakfast together at The Good The Bad The Hungry which was a lovely place only a 10 minute drive away.

Amy & Dan:We got married at The Sancroft Barns on Friday 22nd July 2022

We booked the venue back in April 2021 as we had been searching everywhere for a barn hire venue, we was running out of luck. Thankfully another venue recommended us to Jeremy & Rachael.

When we came to view the barn it was still having work completed but straight away we fell in love with the rustic barn setting, plus when talking to Jeremy and Rachael they still had plenty of amazing ideas for their venue.

The fact it was a 'dry hire' venue meant we were able to keep our current suppliers and we had the freedom to choose our own setup, which was brilliant as we found other venues had a set list of their own suppliers.

Originally we was getting married in Bury St Edmunds so our photos were going to be in Abbey Gardens.

But Jeremy and Rachael venue had so many great and amazing places to go for our photo opportunities instead, from their amazing gardens to the beautiful corn field around the venue. It was just perfect.

Everyone who came loved the venue and so many compliments about the venue and it’s staff.
