Owned by Denise who started Oaklands to help couples like you create a day that is uniquely yours.

The main question Denise is asked when meeting prospective clients is, “Why would we have a Celebrant Wedding? “

It’s more a question of, ”Why wouldn’t you?”

Couples are always looking for something different for their wedding day going Into the finite details of flowers, outfits, colour schemes etc, but when it comes to the actual ceremony they tend to accept the first option, having a registrar to officiate.

Whilst registrars conduct their ceremonies well they are from a set script, using the same words for every couple.

You are restricted to holding your wedding in a licensed venue and you will only meet your registrar for the first time on your wedding day when they arrive at your ceremony.

With Celebrant it’s totally different.

Denise will meet you a few times before your day for her to learn all about you - your story your hopes and dreams for the future, why you first fell in love ……

She’ll then create a ceremony exactly how you would like it - funny, romantic intimate or a combination of all of these. It’s entirely up to you.

She’ll help you to write your own vows if you wish.

Everything about the day is what you want it to be, and Denise will be there an hour or so before to make sure.

Having a Celebrant led ceremony also opens up so many possibilities for your venue. You are not restricted to a licensed premises. The beach, your family home, your favourite place…… everything is possible. You will still have to visit a registry office to legalise your marriage but this is a simple exercise taking about 10 minutes and Denise will guide you through this too.

Weddings are Denise’s passion. She loves to make peoples dreams become a reality.
