Nearly 25 years ago, Hungarian Hall first opened its doors to the public for outdoor activities and corporate hospitality. In 2007, they hosted a successful, family marquee wedding, which inspired them to create Hungarian Hall Events - a wedding and events venue that has since thrived. They obtained their licence for ceremonies in late 2008 and word quickly spread about their exceptional wedding venue in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, near Woodbridge.

Hungarian Hall provides a picturesque and peaceful setting for your wedding day, with unspoilt countryside surroundings and easy access to coastal towns such as Aldeburgh, Orford, and Felixstowe. The large grounds allow guests to roam freely, taking in the beautiful sounds and smells of rural Suffolk. The venue is perfect for couples seeking a unique and exclusive wedding experience, with the convenience of hosting both ceremonies and receptions in one location.

Wedding Ceremonies

The Danube Suite can accommodate up to 170 people for a ceremony, but can also be transformed into a more intimate space for smaller weddings. The neutral décor provides a light and airy feel, allowing your personal wedding colour scheme to shine. Hungarian Hall offer optional extras to enhance your chosen theme, and their suite is conveniently located next to the marquee where your wedding breakfast will be served. This setup allows you to effortlessly move between ceremony and reception, while greeting guests and offering pre-dinner drinks and canapés in a comfortable environment.

For outdoor ceremonies, they offer a new Victorian-style summerhouse, situated on the edge of the reception lawn, which can currently accommodate up to 150 guests. This secluded and exclusive location provides the perfect setting for couples looking to tie the knot in a quiet corner of the Suffolk countryside.

Wedding Receptions

The stunning reception marquee seats up to 200 people for a wedding breakfast, with the option to extend for larger parties of up to 400. The marquee can be tailored to suit any size reception, with separate areas for catering, buffet, bar and reception. The bay window offers a panoramic view of the grounds and Suffolk countryside beyond, while the French doors provide access to the formal lawn for photographs and pre-reception drinks. By evening, the marquee is illuminated by gorgeous sunsets and a reveal curtain is raised on a darkened starlit dance floor, complete with mirror ball and stage for your entertainment.
